Football Camps

2017 Team / Individual Camps Information

You may register as a team or as an individual for either or both Camp 1 and Camp 2... Please read the following guidelines.

All INDIVIDUALS may register online by clicking the "Register" link in the table below.

Camp participants registering as individuals should register for day 2 or 3 of the camp they attend.

Before registering, please read the "Medical Release Forms" and "Payments" sections, as well as the additional information below the registration table.

COSTS:
Team Player - $305 (Deposit Included)
Individual Player - $320 (Deposit Included)
Individual Commuter - $210 (Not staying in dorms at all, hotel/home)
Two Day Individual w/ Dorm - $175 (1 overnight) **Non Refundable**
Two Day Individual w/o Dorm - $150 **Non Refundable**
Single Day Individual w/ Dorm - $100
(Example: 1 overnight $100; 2 = $200) **Non Refundable**
Single Day Individual w/o Dorm - $75 **Non Refundable**

Medical Release Forms
The medical release form is available here: Medical Release Form. It can also be found at the bottom of this page.

All medical release forms must have a front and back copy of the insurance card placed in the designated spaces on the medical release form.

Individuals may email their medical release forms to marca@ewu.edu or mail them to Marc Anderson, 207 PEB, Cheney, WA 99004.

All TEAM medical release forms must be turned in to your high school coach. Each head coach is responsible for collecting medical release forms from their players and submitting them to Eastern Washington University Football by June 9th for Camp 1 and June 16th for Camp 2. Teams will not be allowed to submit their medical release forms the day of arrival.

Coaches may submit their team's medical release forms by scanning them and emailing them to marca@ewu.edu or by mailing them to Marc Anderson, 207 PEB, Cheney, WA 99004. If you scan your team's medical release forms, please also bring the original copies with you to camp.

Payments
Individuals can make payments through the "Register" link in the table above or by mailing their payments to Marc Anderson at 207 PEB, Cheney, WA 99004.

All TEAM payments must be turned in to your high school coach. Each head coach is responsible for collecting payments from their players and submitting them to Eastern Washington University Football.

Teams must pay with one lump-sum payment via group check or credit card.

Additional Fees/Cancellations
The $100 camp deposit is non-refundable. The remaining fee of $205 for team campers and $220 for full-camp individual campers will be refunded up to one week before the first day of camp. Later notice will require a doctor's release from camp due to medical reasoning. Single-day individual rates are non-refundable. Each athlete must provide a front and back copy of their insurance card, a camp registration form, and a medical release form in order to participate.

Items to Bring
Bring personal articles and workout gear. You will want to bring bedding, pillows, towels, toiletries, a fan, and spending money. You must provide your own helmet, shoulder pads, jersey, mouth guard, and pants with pads. This is a must since equipment will not be available to rent. Quarterbacks are encouraged to bring their own footballs. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS.

Check-In
Team/Individual Camp:

Camp 1 check-in: 10:00am-1:00pm from June 21, 2017 in the Pearce Hall recreation room (second round building across from the football stadium).
Check-out: June 24, 2017 from 11:15am-1:00pm.

Camp 2 check-in: 11:30am-1:00pm from June 27, 2017 in the Pearce Hall recreation room (second round building across from the football stadium).
Check-out: June 30, 2017 from 11:15am-1:00pm.

All TEAM camp registrations and payments are to be turned into your high school coach.

Camp Mission
For the 33rd year, the camp will continue to offer the very best team and individual football skills development in the Northwest from outstanding college and high school coaches. The camps are limited contact with full gear worn for protection.

Camp of Champions
We are proud of our camp tradition. Over the past 33 years, alumni of the EWU Football Camps have been part of 41 state championships, earned over 235 college scholarships and several professional opportunities.

Special Diet Requests
If you have special diet requests, please complete EWU Dining Services' Special Diet Request Form. The form can be found at https://sites.ewu.edu/dining/special-diet-request-form/

Front and back copy of insurance card is REQUIRED to participate in camp activities. Please include both copies on your medical release form. Athletes will not be able to participate without an insurance card. NO EXCEPTIONS.

NOTE: It is recommended that campers are vaccinated for bacterial meningitis prior to attending a camp at EWU. campers are introduced into large groups with close living quarters such as residence halls.

Medical Release Form

The medical release form for our 2017 summer camps was updated on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 to include sections for an email address and for the Eastern Washington University Admissions Office to contact camp participants with information regarding attending Eastern Washington University. If you completed the medical release form before Tuesday, February 28, 2017, you do not need to complete the form again. You only need to complete the updated medical release form if you are completing the medical release form on or after Thursday, February 28, 2017.
